Art Courses

Flowers and Still Life Acrylic

Wednesday 10th & Thursday 11th April
Allanton Village Hall

This will be a two-day intensive course looking at painting still life with flowers using acrylics. You will be taught how to use palette knives, using the various mediums to build texture. and how to glaze.

We start on Wednesday morning making a number of studies, working through exercises to make you familiar with your subject. Scale will change from small to medium. The afternoon will be spent establishing a painting and completing it by the close of day.

Thursday begins with a few quick sketches, and then working on a bigger piece of paper for the remaining studio time. We finish this lively two-day course by having a gentle look at what everyone has done over the two day period.

Cost: £200
There will be a non-refundable deposit of £30.
